🌈 Program Overview

The QT Leaders Nonprofit: Digital Futures Program is a national leadership and digital transformation initiative for nonprofit leaders across Canada.

This program supports leaders navigating AI integration, digital governance, and organizational change while centering inclusive, values-aligned leadership practices. Through facilitated virtual and in-person roundtables, participants engage in structured peer dialogue, applied practice, and ecosystem knowledge sharing.

The result: practical tools, case studies, and decision-making frameworks that strengthen both individual organizations and the broader nonprofit sector.

QueerTech has received funding through RBC's approach to helping strengthen the capacity of Canada's nonprofit sector.

Why This Program Exists

Nonprofit leaders are needing to navigate increasing technological complexity with limited resources, rising demand, and heightened accountability.

This program exists to create a structured, peer-based space where leaders can:

• Assess digital and AI readiness
• Validate potential tools or use cases responsibly
• Implement changes aligned with mission, governance, and community trust
• Strengthen leadership resilience under technological pressure

Outcomes

Throughout the program, participants will be able to:

• Apply inclusive leadership frameworks to AI and digital decisions
• Assess, validate, and responsibly implement AI use cases
• Strengthen organizational data governance and digital readiness
• Translate learning into practical internal tools, frameworks, or decision pathways

👥 Who This Program Is For

Mid-career and senior nonprofit leaders who:

• Hold operational, governance, or strategic decision-making responsibility
• Are navigating AI integration or digital transformation pressures
• Lead community-serving or impact-sector organizations
• Value peer dialogue and ecosystem knowledge sharing
• Seek nonprofit-specific applied tools

⏳ Time Frame

The program runs April–November 2026 and includes 6 touchpoints. While engagement is flexible, we encourage attending an in-person activation as accessible, and 3+ virtual sessions.

Delivery includes:

• 5 Virtual Roundtables (90 minutes each)

  Facilitated peer sessions focused on AI assessment, validation, implementation, digital governance, etc.

QT Connect Meetups, QT Qonference (QTQ) and in-person activations**

• QTQ (November 18-19)

  Public-facing conversation showcasing collective insights, case studies, and developed frameworks in Toronto.
